Database Management Systems

This course serves as an introduction to the fundamentals of Database Management Systems. This course deals with understanding the evolution of database systems. Students will cover the theoretical basis of the foundation of databases and hence apply that knowledge in developing and using relational databases. This course contains theoretical and practical assignments that will focus on the database design life cycle, while in the labs students learn to develop and manipulate an actual relational database using queries, forms, and reports.
