We are student researchers from the University of Belize, Geminnie Amaya, Delcy Anthony, and Meyah Garbutt, currently pursuing our Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science. We are requesting permission to distribute our survey for our research project, "The Awareness and Knowledge of Airborne Diseases Among College Students in Belize," as part of the requirements for our course, ALHL 3904 - Research Methods for Health Professionals.

The purpose of our research is to assess the level of awareness and knowledge of airborne diseases among university students in Belize. This study is crucial as it aims to provide insights into the understanding of airborne diseases among university students who are influential members of society. The findings of this research could contribute to the development of educational programs and interventions aimed at enhancing awareness and prevention of airborne diseases among this demographic.

Our questionnaire consists of 31 questions about airborne diseases and would take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Attached is a pdf with all the questions we would ask. We assure you that all data collected will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and used solely for research purposes. Additionally, participation in the survey will be entirely voluntary, and respondents can withdraw at any point. It's important to note that all responses will be anonymized, ensuring that individual participants cannot be identified from the data.
